The problem is trust at scale.
The internet was built for humans. Every protocol, every security model, every terms of service assumes a human is operating the browser. That assumption is breaking.
AI agents are acting on behalf of real people at scale, booking appointments, submitting job applications, sending messages, executing financial transactions. But platforms have no way to distinguish an authorized AI agent from a malicious bot. So they block everything automated.
Legitimate users get blocked. Bad actors find workarounds. The blanket approach fails everyone.
The solution is identity forking.
Humans have government-issued identities. AI agents should inherit a cryptographic proof of their human origin, not a copy of the human’s personal data, but a mathematical attestation that a verified human authorized this agent to act.
That is what Reelin ID does. A user verifies once with a government ID. Every AI agent they activate receives an Ed25519 keypair, a Reelin Passport , anchored to their human DID on-chain. Platforms verify passports via a single API call.
The human stays private. The agent becomes trustworthy.
